Dharma teacher Keren Arbel will lead a three-day meditation retreat in Cercedilla, in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

About the teacher

Keren Arbel is a senior Dharma teacher and a Buddhist scholar, author and translator.

She regularly leads retreats at Tovana Insight Meditation Center and is a co-founder of Nalanda – a space for contemplative study and practice of the Buddhist path.

Her teaching is shaped by decades of dedicated practice and a deep study of the early Buddhist suttas. She is the author of three books, including a study of the four jhānas and a Hebrew collection of translations from the Pali suttas.

  • Location: Centro Siquem, Cercedilla
  • Access: A few minutes’ walk from Cercedilla train station
  • Held in English and open to both beginners and experienced meditators.
  • Accommodation: €210 (single room)
  • Meals: Full vegetarian meals included.
  • Teaching: Participants will be invited to offer a contribution to the teacher in the practice of generosity (dāna).
